Among the first signs of spring come the birds and the awakening sounds they bring. It is sweet music to the ears following long winter quietness.
So God created the creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:21
Ahh! God's creation. It is a privilege to observe the intricacies of His creativeness and watch how all that He created fits together. His design is amazing (along with His grace)! All of our senses are awakened at the creation. Sights, sounds, taste, textures, and scents given to us to enjoy and explore.
We have Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge just to the north of us. It is a treasure. I have been spending more time in the refuge with the environmental education as school children are coming for field trips to learn more about our area via Tamarac. If we could only say, "Look at all God created for you to enjoy in these birds, animals, and plants!" It is really my prayer that all the children will come to know that it is our creator God who gave them all this to enjoy.
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or stow away in barns, and yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable then they?
Matthew 6:26
If God cares about the birds, how much more does He care about you? He knows every hair on your head!
And even the hairs on your very head are numbered.

So rest assured knowing that we have a fabulous Father in heaven that is much bigger stronger and smarter than we can imagine that loves us and desires us to call Him "Father" and call to Him. We can come to Him through His Son, Jesus. Read more about it in the Bible! The birds are His creation and so are you! If the birds are a blessing, how much more of a blessing are you? The birds bring color, song and interest to this earth. You bring so much more to this earth. God has a purpose and a plan for each person here and all that He created. You are the crown of creation and blessed to be a blessing.
